Financial Aid - Grants - Westwood College

Federal grant programs and several state grant programs are available to qualifying students. Federal Pell Grant The Federal Pell Grant is a federal program designed to provide assistance to any eligible undergraduate student pursuing postsecondary education. Federal Pell Grants are awarded to students who have not already earned a bachelor's degree. For many students, this grant provides a foundation of financial aid to which other aid may be added. The value of the award currently varies from $400 to $4000 depending on the student's financial need and the cost of attendance. Grant amounts may vary from year to year depending upon federal funding. Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant The Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG) program is for undergraduates with exceptional financial need. Because it is a grant program, an FSEOG doesn't have to be paid back. There's no guarantee every eligible student will receive an FSEOG; students at each school may be awarded an FSEOG based on eligibility and the availability of funds at that school.
