MTA Customers: UAA distance education and MTA have partnered up this semester to air UAA telecourses free of charge to students in Eagle River and The MatSu valley that subscribe to MTA for their television service. The telecourses are part of the video on demand system that MTA uses. Every episode of every telecourse that we are showing this semester is available. To access the telecourses you hit the MENU button on your MTA remote control.

The whole process takes all of a minute and is really efficient with a print out after submission for our records. I wish other systems we used had this ease with data entry. This study examined the current distance education practices of graduate level Higher Education Programs in the United States. Specifically examined were delivery methods, sources of funding, and faculty workload and compensation as they relate to distance education.
