Swimming Class

This course is designed to help the competitive and recreational swimmers develop and improve swimming techniques using the four basic strokes- (crawl stroke, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly). This course will help students develop a regular exercise program in the aquatic environment. The course will focus on improving cardiovascular conditioning, muscular strength, muscular endurance, and flexibility while reducing the risk of injury. This course will provide stroke-by-stroke guidance for students who want to use swimming to improve health and related fitness by implementating stroke drills.

MiraVista Roofing Class Action

On January 23, 2007, the Bankruptcy Court entered an order (the “Settlement Order”) in two lawsuits in the Chapter 11 Bankruptcy case of Owens Corning that involve MiraVista Shake and MiraVista Slate roofing materials (both of which are referred to as “MiraVista”). MiraVista is a composite roofing product made from fiberglass, resin and inorganic fillers. It was manufactured by Owens Corning, Inc., Molded Fiberglass Companies and Molded Fiberglass Companies/West between 1996 and 2002. The Settlement Order granted final approval of the Settlement with Owens Corning and the motion for attorneys' fees. Additionally, the Settlement Order requested that the District Court for the District of Delaware approve the Settlement with respect to the claims asserted against Molded Fiberglass Companies and Molded Fiberglass Companies/West.
